Some of us have been in relationships with people or things that cut off our ability to have a voice. Feeling like no one hears us. Being taught to be quiet about things that have happened in our past. Being ridiculed by someone when we speak. Giving power and authority to our negative thoughts which bring silence. Being fearful to say what God has shown us. Scared to tell someone when we need help. Taking verbal abuse from others. Allowing those around us to speak death in our lives. Worrying about what people will think if we open our mouths to praise Jesus.
Don’t you know there are life and death in the power of the tongue? Your gift is in your voice. I don’t know who I’m talking to, but I hear the Holy Spirit. If you could just speak with your mouth your circumstance would change. Your silence will be the thing that welcomes hinderance if you don’t start speaking.
You have to know our voices have power. Think about this… Our God in the book of Genesis created the heavens and earth with His VOICE. He SPOKE it and it existed. If we were made in His image and likeness. Wouldn’t He give us the same ability to speak something and it then exists? The problem is we don’t believe the power God placed inside of us. We have too much doubt and fear. Even though the Bible tells us, those aren’t spirits of God.
My brother and my sister in Christ. It’s time to speak up. You shall have what you say. If you say nothing you will have nothing. If you speak doubt and fear you will continue to have doubt and fear. If you repeat the negativity which was spoken over your life you will cultivate it. The enemy will continue to poison your purpose if you don’t start speaking life. Your healing is in your ability to speak it. Your breakthrough is in your ability to speak it. Your deliverance is in your ability to speak it. There are visions God has given you that have never left your mind. And He’s saying, “If you spoke what I showed you over your life you would activate it. Glory! Don’t spend another moment being quiet. It’s time to speak up. Remember, you have a voice. When you speak things exists.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 18:21
