The Best Version of You

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. We have made it through the week. Glory be to God! I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. One thing that I love about Yahweh is how He consistently reveals to me the many layers of our relationship. Just when I think I’ve learned all I can learn at this level He stretches me further. As I was sitting at my desk yesterday He told me, “The best version of you already exists. Stop covering it up with what you think is missing.” That part! Wow!

How many times have we talked ourselves out of greatness? How many times have we limited our ability, because we didn’t believe we had the right relationship to grow us. How many times have we suppressed what God placed in us to substitute it with something or someone we thought we were missing? I know I’ve done it time and time again. It reminds me of a concept that I live by when it comes to accomplishing goals. That being, “The only difference between successful and nonsuccessful people is the time they put into their goals.” God told me His people give up easily. Our followthrough is horrible. This is why we have such a hard time seeing He’s already made the best version of us. We won’t seek me long enough to meet that person.

I hear you, Lord. He wasn’t just talking about my siblings in Christ. He was talking about me. I can vividly pinpoint the times that I gave up on God, because of my lack of patience. Believing He must have changed His mind about what He promised me, because it didn’t show up when I thought it would. I didn’t understand He was taking me through my process to prepare me for the promise. I didn’t understand that had He given me the promise before I was ready for it I would mess it up once I had it.

I want to encourage you while you’re on your relationship journey to becoming a better you. EVERYTHING that you need is already within you. God didn’t forget to leave out the essential tools for your purpose. Don’t focus on the Mother or Father who was absent. The best version of you isn’t contingent upon their presence in your life. Never stop pursuing your purpose, because no one has invested in you. God said, “I’m your investor.” Don’t allow your past to conceal the best version of you any longer. GOD believes in what He made. He believes in the seed He planted in us, and we know what seeds do. They eventually grow up and out through the dirt. This is why I’m so closely attached to my brand, “In His Image.” If the word of God says, I’m made in His image. Why would God make something in His image, and not equip it to be great? He wouldn’t. We prevent ourselves from being great.

God wants to introduce you to who He created you to be. No longer can we afford to search for ourselves everywhere else except in God. Remember, the best version of you already exists.

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 4:22-24

  1. The best part of me does exist. It’s time I stop defining moment future by my past. I never follow through. I have good intentions but like most, if I don’t get the results I am looking for at that time I give up. A close friend who knows me too well always tells me to pick one task. So I am doing just that. Thanks Mrs. CEO.

    1. This is such a beautiful message. Glory be to God. You know how I feel about my friends. I want you all to win. All 3 of you. Lol. God has something so special that He has placed on the inside of you. I’m happy to hear you’re on your journey to discovering your greatness.
